Registration regime and important information

GA Asset Management B.V. manages alternative investment funds under the registration regime for small managers set out in Article 2:66a of the Dutch Financial Supervision Act (Wet op het financieel toezicht, Wft). The firm is entered in the register kept by the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (Autoriteit Financiële Markten, AFM).

The regime is open to managers whose assets under management remain below the thresholds set in Article 3(2) of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive, as implemented in the Wft. A manager within those thresholds is registered rather than licensed.

A registered manager holds no AIFMD licence and is not subject to ongoing prudential or conduct supervision by the AFM or by De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). The protections that apply to investors in funds managed by a licensed manager do not apply.

Obligations that do apply to us include registration and notification with the AFM, periodic reporting on the funds we manage, and compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Act (Wwft) and the Sanctions Act 1977.

Our activity is the management of alternative investment funds. We do not provide investment services to the public, and we do not give investment advice.

Participations in the funds we manage are made available only to investors who qualify under the exemptions that apply to us, and only on the basis of the relevant fund documentation. That documentation, and not this website, governs any investment.
